Our Story
- Valenor -
'Valenor' is a multi-stage lifestyle venture that aims to share our beautiful slice of paradise with a number of different community groups in our region.
From horse owners and riders to photographers and business owners looking for a picturesque backdrop for photoshoots and events, Valenor offers incredible facilities set amongst amazing Clarence Valley scenery.​

James and Lara purchased the 100 acres property in mid-2024 and after a few improvements, they could see the potential in the location, and that it could both fulfil their creative needs, as well as provide a useful service to other horse lovers.
In August 2025 they welcomed their first son, Nick, renewing their drive to build a lifestyle for their young family.

The name has been created by combining two great legacies that will underpin all that the Valenor brand will represent.
The land has been previously known and recognised as ‘Elanora’, a purpose-built horse property that has remained so over the last three decades. As the new owners, we intend to continue this legacy by bringing the name Elanora along on our journey.
The update to the name comes from ‘Valerie’. A graceful and quietly tenacious Irish woman, who was my late maternal Grandmother and a formative figure in my life.
‘Val’ is now immortalised and drives our Valenor brand – graceful and quietly tenacious.

Valenor Equestrian is the first stage on offer, taking spelling and holiday bookings from December 2025, with ridden positions and facility hire available from January 2026.
As our dream takes shape, we will be updating this page with Valenor’s developments and growth.
